The Neighbourhood Watch podcast is hosted by Alfie Moore, a former police officer turned award-winning comedian.

Rather than another 'true crime' podcast, the aim is to draw on real and very relatable experiences. The show explores what it is like growing up in different neighbourhoods, discusses different types of crime, and empowers listeners with practical advice.

John Hayward-Cripps, Chief Executive of Neighbourhood Watch, said: "We are about community building and crime reduction, and this format is an entertaining way to deliver serious messages to a new audience. We've all been victims of crime, it can be very traumatic but it's also quite universal. The conversations we had with the guests were fascinating, insightful and span the spectrum of human emotion. We hope the podcast will help our members and many more people to feel part of our community."

Producers Adore Audio developed the show to appeal to anyone who enjoys honest, human stories told by familiar faces.

Guests include: Ruth Dodsworth OBE, the well-known weather presenter, who talks candidly about her experience of coercive control. Radio presenter Andy Bush shares the devastating story of how his parents were cruelly scammed out of their life savings. Bobby Seagull - broadcaster, educator and University Challenge star - talks about his encounters with street crime. Completing the line-up so far is GMTV legend Penny Smith, who will discuss her fears and feelings in the aftermath of being burgled.
